Kupono

The word Kupono means "to be worthy". In this piece, you will see the story of how one fights against the restraints put on by society to be "worthy" or good enough. This is shown through the use of shapes shifting changing and eventually coming togther. This journey essentially showcases how one breaks free from the restraints and expectations from others and embracing their own personality not letting society sway who they are as a person.

To create this piece, I used a combination of Photoshop for the frame by frame animation and effects and touchups in After Effects and music cut in Audition.
