Here on this page, you will find a variety of simple Typography projects I have done showcasing and expanding on my design skills while playing with different levels of hierarchy and placement. I start with a general theme and create a grid that could best express its mood, then begin with the creation of the frames. Decided to keep these pieces black and white so that the primary focus would remain around the design and layout of the type.

The Peanuts

This is a concept that takes inspiration from the classic Peanuts comic strip, Expressing the tone and actions of the characters through the use of text. Each composition showcases each square from the comic strip.

Hierarchy

The primary purpose of this concept is to showcase and experiment with elements creating hierarchy. With the use of tracking, leading spaces, and the general composition. Each composition features a different order of hierarchy.

Order of hierarchy:

scale and family members stay the same.

1) Title

2) Day
